From the moment I met Erik, I knew I was in good hands. He is confident, organized and blunt, which I really appreciate. At our first meeting I took him through my house sasking where to put in an extra bedroom. Not an easy task for a new house with an open floor plan! Like magic, he came up with a plan that not only satisfied my request for an extra bedroom, but the downstairs layout is better than it was originally. Rightfully so, Erik takes a lot of pride in his company and goes above and beyond to offer suggestions and tips on what might make life more comfortable. I have nothing but compliments for Leanne and Derek as well. Both are excellent communicators, knowledgeable and super efficient. If you are looking for the whole package and are nervous about who to trust with your reno, you can rest easy with Spruce Hill.

We had an amazing experience working with Sprucehill and could not be happier of the final product. We did a full renovation down to the studs of our entire house and absolutely love what they were able to produce for us – this was a 5600 square foot home in just 11 months. Sprucehill only uses the best sub trades and you can have confidence that their attention to detail from the planning stage to execution will leave you so happy with both the process and the result. Everything from budgeting to elevations and specifications was super well organized, meaning that communication between us and them was most crystal clear. The use a great programme to organize all their notes so whenever you need to look up anything, it’s all right there for you. Erik and his team are super friendly, extremely knowledgeable and work very well together. I was always made to feel as a priority to them and they worked so hard to provide perfection on our project. They even won an award for our Master Suite. I have had a lot of experience renovating with different companies before this project and have never had anything close to this level of professionalism and skill. I will absoutely work with Sprucehill on our next project and would encourage anyone looking for a very good renovation experience to do the same.

I’ve used Sprucehill multiple times for many projects, including renovations and to build a brand new home. The work they produce is second to none and I have reccomend them to countless clients for renovations and new builds. I hired Erik Jensen and his team at Spricehill Contracting to build a custom home to replace the home I grew up in. They were really sensitive to the nostalgic aspect of this project, which made us feel heard and cared about. Construction began in July of 2014 and we moved in September of 2015. The quality of work that Sprucehill’s team and trades did was excellent. Everyone they work with was very professional and seemed to really care about the quality of their work. One of the things we liked the most about working with Sprucehill was our weekly budget reports. We always felt like we were in the driver’s seat and knew where the budget was at (and where it may grow to!). And changes we made were quickly documents and added to the overall budget. Ultimately, we feel like we recieved excellent value for the money spent. Any issues that came up during construction or shortly thereafter were quickly addressed and taken care of. About a year after we moved in, we had a bunch of nail pops and other minor deficiencies that needed to be addressed. Erik and his team took care of them quickly and efficiently without any issues. At the end of the day, we are really happy we hired Sprucehill to build our dream home, complete with our amazing pool!
